MEMBERSHIP & EVIDENCE

Know the relationship. Check the evidence.

Federation’s public verifier lets anyone check whether an exact website address has an active operator-approved ecosystem relationship. No account is needed to perform the check.

What membership verification establishes.

The verifier checks a signed, time-limited response for the website origin you requested. An active membership identifies the approved organization and its registered domain. Explorer provides the signed publication history so you can inspect changes over time.

The exact address matters.

A similar domain, unlisted subdomain or copied badge does not inherit approval. Compare the verified address with your browser’s address bar. Apex and www addresses are covered only when explicitly approved.

The current status matters.

Approvals have review deadlines and can expire or be revoked. A verification response lasts at most 90 seconds. Repeat the check for a current result; a screenshot is not current evidence.

Check membership in three steps.

  1. Enter the website.

Open the independent Federation verifier, or use a partner’s Verify partnership control. Check the complete HTTPS address.

  2. Read the verified result.

The browser checks the signature, the requested address, the fresh challenge and expiry. An unrecognized, revoked, expired or unavailable result is not an active approval.

  3. Inspect the Explorer record.

Follow the evidence link to review the organization, registered origins, membership history and the separately reported ledger status.

Signed membership and ledger finality are different.

SIGNED MEMBERSHIP

Who approved the relationship?

The registry signature and history establish the operator’s published membership approval. They can be independently checked even while a ledger proof is pending.

LEDGER EVIDENCE

What has been anchored?

A separate ledger proof concerns the publication’s commitment to the chain. Only a verified finality result supports that claim. Pending or unavailable proof must remain visibly pending.

At this publication, native anchoring remains pending for recent membership updates. Check Explorer for the current record-specific status. A valid membership signature alone does not establish blockchain finality.

Keep the scope of approval clear.

Membership does not certify every page or transaction, guarantee a website’s security, establish a regulatory authorization, or demonstrate a live sister-network connection. A technology relationship, where separately recorded, also needs its own scope and evidence.

Public website approval and private member access are separate. Signing in with Hybrid-ID does not automatically grant an organization role, access to another member’s data or permission to use its services.

Understand the participation process →

Commercial proofs protect private information.

Service price commitments are separate from public membership records. Prices, conditions and counterparties remain private; an opaque commitment can be published as evidence of the approved version. A recorded receipt is not a claim of verified ledger finality. Authorized participants retain the private version needed to check the commitment.
